I love seeing fantastic design in a wedding invitation and this suite from Amy Hardy (Design 8 Days) is exactly that!

The mix of different typefaces works so well and the colour combination is so simple and really compliments the crisp design.

So smart and fancy and fun. I actually really like this modern whimsicalness.

// I’m A Wedding Blogger All of a Sudden//

So um…I kind of landed an internship this morning at this here place:

A week after sending in my application without much thought, they e-mailed me the morning of the first day of class and wanted to set something up. I was stressing out like crazy. I had no idea I had it in the bag when I went into the interview this morning, but it turned out that Shelly and Heidi, the business partners, had already checked out my blogs and other writing. The interview was just to see if we’d get along and hit it off, and I actually felt almost completely relaxed and on the same page. I’m a tad frightened about my lack of wedding knowledge, but I love challenges, and the team is giving me the freedom to write about whatever I want. 

I’ve missed blogging, so this is a really exciting opportunity for me. It’s my first real face-to-face internship too, so even though this still isn’t in an office or anything, it’s definitely different from telecommuting. I hope to take as much from this as possible.
