What do you do with all the pictures your don’t post?
Most of the time, when I don’t post something, it’s only because the subject feels unattractive. If it still makes me laugh, I’ll keep it on my computer :P Otherwise, I’ll delete it.
But you say “ALL the pictures I don’t post” - do I not post that many photos?? If they’re photos that people take with my camera, and they’re of random shit or poorly-shot, then I delete them.
What do you want in social media?
I’d like to see people and businesses using social media to produce change and connect communities. (See Chase Community Giving on FB, the Pepsi Refresh project, and Socialvibe.) From a news POV, I’d like it to spread TRUTHFUL information, not false celebrity death rumors.
Urban or rural? (I think I can guess this one…)
Hahaha, yep, gotta go with urban. I don’t think I need to go into why. BUT since I’ve never actually spent time in a rural area, then I guess I can’t knock it until I try it.

Do you like fashion? Who are your fashion inspirations (which blogs, celebrities, tv characters, etc)?
I like having STYLE, not necessarily fashion, at almost all times, but comfort and fit are my priorities. The only blog I read is Hand It Over, but that’s partially because she goes to Lowell. (Well, sometimes I read What I Wore too.)
My main inspiration would be San Franciscans. I go shopping-crazy during vacations because I’m surrounded by eclectic, creative tastes and not Northface jackets and O-branded apparel.
So HOW did you get into the whole Quidditch thing anyway?
I discovered the group last spring, but nothing ever came of it. In the fall, my Community Leadership and Change (PPPM 325) prof challenged us to take on an existing group and reenergize its strategy and communications. (50% of the our grade!) So I contacted one of the original creators of UO’s league, got her OK, and completely redid EVERYTHING. I started from the ground up, because Quidditch then only existed in the form of a defunt FB group. I ended up with a B+ in the class, but the league has been far more rewarding than an A anyway :)
Are there people in high school you regret not knowing better?
I’ve never really thought about it, but I did feel that way from time to time. I wish I knew well-connected people better instead of observing them from a distance and feeling almost like they were on another level from me.
What is one thing you would change about your appearance?
My hair. No doubt about it. It’s what people know and love me for, but after 19 years, I still can’t fully embrace it. It gives me so much effing grief!
do you miss me?
Sorry, but probably not. I miss very few people at the moment. It really depends on our history and how we left each other’s lives, or if we’re a part of each other’s lives - but barely. That, to me, is worse than not knowing someone at all anymore.
Why did you start using formspring?
I was interested to see if people would actually ask me questions, and if they did, what they’d want to know. Sort of tells you a lot about how others perceive you. I also got into Formspring very early, but couldn’t tell if it was having much success, beyond some of my friends on Twitter. So since I’m into social media, I thought I’d jump in, myself.
Who/what is on your shitlist right now?
Shitlist? Never heard of the term. I don’t dislike anyone at this particular moment, but if you had asked me last week… ;) Right now, I’m sick of Comparative Literature, meetings, lack of cooperation, needs, cold weather, and dorm food.
